1. About EthioMade

EthioMade is a marketplace platform that connects customers with verified Ethiopian fashion designers and cultural artisans. We facilitate discovery and communication — we are not a party to transactions between customers and designers.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
You must be at least 18 years old to use EthioMade.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. For customers

You may browse designer profiles, view portfolios, and send inquiries.
Pricing, timelines, and delivery terms are agreed directly between you and the designer.
Reviews must be honest and based on genuine interactions. We may remove reviews that contain harassment, spam, or false claims.
Measurements you submit are shared only with the designer you selected for your order.

4. For designers

Designer accounts require an application and admin approval.
You must provide accurate information about your craft, experience, and pricing.
Portfolio images must be your own original work or used with permission.
You agree to respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
EthioMade may review and remove portfolio content that is inappropriate, misleading, or violates intellectual property rights.

5. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
Upload content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights.
Attempt to access other users' accounts or private data.
Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to collect data from the platform without permission.
Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or the origin of products.

6. Intellectual property

The EthioMade name, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property. Designer portfolio content remains the property of the respective designers. By uploading content, designers grant EthioMade a licence to display it on the platform for the purpose of promoting their work.

7. Limitation of liability

EthioMade is a marketplace platform. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items offered by designers. We are not liable for disputes between customers and designers, including issues related to pricing, delivery, quality, or refunds.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email.
